We ran out of daylight to
fasten the third wall to the
existing building.  The
high winds was causing
the wall to sway back and
forth which made both of
uncomfortable leaving it
there to dangle for 2 day;
but we had no other
choice.
Peggy did a great job of
framing this wall and
decided to frame for a
large window to allow for
cross breath.  We did
save a lot of time and
hammering by using a nail
gun operated with a small
air tank to allow for
greater mobility.
The last two top plate
beams are 20' long 6x6
timbers.  We used a
hoist to temporary
place them next to the
existing top plate on
first section of the wall
before installing the
floor joists.  These top
plates will have almost
a 3' overhang from the
back wall.
With the top plates in
place, we next hoisted
up the sheets of plywood
necessary to floor the
new addition.
